I was in DC hangin' with a couple million of my fellow Amerkins.
It was awful cold, and we never got too close to anything, but there was plenty good vibes to soak up.
And we soaked em up good!
Omen note: We saw what we think was a wild fox running through Arlington on Monday. Good omen? Bad? I choose good.

I thought it was shoulder to shoulder the length of the Mall? Looks like it wasn't quite as full down by the reflecting pool.
Anyway, at least you were there! Hope it wasn't a hassle.
Most of the people were scrunched over on the side (to the right of this view) where the big Jumbo Trons were. My buddy walked forward, and said once you got to the Washington Monument it was jam packed. It actually was pretty perfect for us; we avoided the Metro on Tues and didn't run into much hassle. So I guess if you didn't mind being as far away as us, you didn't have to fight for space! :)
