Desert Island Music

I asked before what your desert island bluegrass albums were, but most of us listen to lots of other stuff.
My desert island list off the top of my head (which ought to be the only way):
Steely Dan -Aja
The Who -Who's Next
Jerry Garcia Band - Live
Bob Dylan - Blood On the Tracks
Bruce Springsteen - Born to Run
Honorable Mention:
Police - Zenyatta Mondatta
Frank Zappa - Joe's Garage
Thelonious Monk - Essential

For starters:

John Denver - An Evening with John Denver (YES, I said John Denver!)

The Eagles Greatest Hits or Hell Freezes Over

America's Greatest Hits

Probably would throw in an Allman Bros. and maybe a Marshall Tucker. Not sure which ones, but would try to have the "classics."

Anonymous, we have a lot in common...Murmer is very worthy. And I kind of forgot how much I loved those early U2 albums.
The Anthology is the Harry Smith collection, right?
I'll have to check out YHF. I've dug lot's of WILCO but not consistently. Is it better than Sky Blue Sky? I love that record.
Wayne...we could share that Allman Bros "Eat a Peach" and I'll bet I know a lot of that JD...my parents had the 8 track. I absorbed a lot of music riding around in the car. [I probably know a lot of Barry Manilow from the same era...]

Beatles Revolver, maybe. PS, I avoided best of's cause that's kind of cheating, but I'm the boss of no man.

Anonymous was me again!

I could take five Beatles albums, three Replacements and a couple others and be happy.
