This is Frank Vignola. He's with Grisman now, and I'm dying to see them.
Frank and this drummer make up the "Frank and Joe Show." They played the Lyric and now I really, really wish I'd gone.

We are progressive, but pretty much only to the extent that we'll play new songs as hard driving bluegrass. Side Door Sessions
We've got a big show planned for October 15th, 2011. The Java Brothers and the Porch Loungers will be there, and other friends, too! As usual, doors open at 7 and music starts at 7:30.
We're always looking for more acts and ways to improve the Sessions. Please send all suggestions to me at chris.burgoyne@gmail.com. I'd love to hear from you.

Don't know who I'm most impressed with. Being a drummer from "back in the day", and an attempted guitar player now, they both are pretty amazing! The guy gets some cool sound out of a music stand. Kinda like Mr. Darlin get all those sounds out of one jug on the Andy Griffith show.

I saw O'Connor and Vignola at the Lyric -- the Hot Swing Trio, I believe they were called (they had a bassist). I love that stuff.
